The Augustana University 艺术部门 supports a community of artists who are passionate about their work and e年龄r to help others develop. Expert faculty work alongside students in state-of-the-art facilities across disciplines of art history, 陶瓷, 画, 平面设计, 绘画, 版画, photography and sculpture. This department works within the guidelines of the National Visual Arts Standards and National Association of Schools of Art & 设计.

The university is proud to announce that the Augustana 艺术部门 has presented its highest award — the Harold Spitzn年龄l Medal for Achievement in Art — to Augustana student Gracie Korstjens ‘24 and Augustana faculty member John Henry Peters ‘76. The two were awarded the prestigious medal during the opening reception of the Augustana Senior Show at the Eide/Dalrymple Gallery on Friday, 4月26日.
The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery at Augustana University opens “The Augustana Senior Show,” which will be on view from Thursday, 4月25日, through Saturday, 5月18日, Augustana’s commencement day. A gallery reception will be held on Friday, 4月26日, from 7-9 p.m., with awards and artist talks at 7:30 p.m.
Augustana is excited to once again host its annual Arthur Olsen Student Research Symposium, set to take place on Saturday, 4月13日, at the Froiland Science Complex, located on the university’s campus.
